NYX Ink Heart & Kleancolor Chunky Holo Teal

Well hello, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Mine has been pretty relaxing. Went out to Mexican on Friday night, made dinner (Tuscan Garlic Chicken) last night for my SO and was pretty productive today! One of the many things that got done were my nails of course. On Twitter I mentioned that I did a manicure combining NYX's Ink heart and Kleancolor's Chunky Teal Holo that was inspired by Like A Candy Shop. I highly recommend her blog. Her blogs and nubs are one of my favs!

NYX's Ink heart is a polish I always reach for. I used it for one of my Christmas Mani's and my Peacock mani. It is the perfect deep blue jelly. Anyway, I saw that Elsa topped off a nacy creme from Kleancolor with Chunky Holo Blue and instantly wanted to recreate it. I LOVE the end result! I haven't used my Chunky Holo nearly as much as I should but will after this I will definitely be utilizing it more!

Here I am, apologizing again for not updating this!

Unfortunately, my nails have not been a priority due to school, work, and life!

I have kept them somewhat decent but they are no where near the shape they were in,

in the photos I'm about to post!

My absence from here has not been ALL negative.

On a positive note my bank account is decently happy :)

ahh, its the most perfect sky blue nail polish

I layered Kleancolor's Chunky Holo Teal over it and it created a beautiful sparkle!

I tried to make room to do a Halloween mani, but time slipped away!

I hope you all had an eventful Halloween!

I will do my best to get a current mani up tomorrow, or the next day :)

Kleancolor Leaves Jingle

I have a quick post before I head off to the beach on the hottest day of the year!

It was 85 degrees at 6 this morning - craziness.

Hopefully, I don't cook too much on the beach =/

Today I am showing you Kealncolor's Leaves Jingle (up until this post I had been calling it Jingle Leaves *slaps forehead*)

I didn't really love this on me but I might give it a second chance.

The application was pretty smooth, and looked good in 2 coats. I think

next time I need to do thinner coats.

Kleancolor Born to the Purple

Happy Friday!

I have a fun mani today using Kleancolor Born to the Purple in hopes to replicate

DL's Bad Romance! Not an exact dupe but I'll take it :)

This is the second Kleancolor I have tried. The problem I had with this one

is that I couldn't grab many hex glitters on the brush! After doing 1 coat I went back

and placed some of the hex glitters around my nail lol.

Below you can kind of see the hint of berry base that this polish is made up of!

Kleancolor Holo Chrome

As soon as I ripped open my Kleancolor's I couldn't wait to put this polish on.

Holo Chrome is a purple base with lots of gorgeous rainbow glitter!

This is 3 coats. Initially, the polish went on very smooth, but by the 3rd coat I noticed it to be

a little gloopy. But once a top coat was applied it looked beautiful as you can see.

Putting up with the smell while applying this is totally worth it!

Kleancolor order!

Last week I heard Beautyjoint.com had Kleancolor's on sale for$1.75!

I had heard so many good things about their Chunky holo's so I had to snatch some up :)

I also wanted to try out some of their glitters

I ended up with these beauties:

These are my first Kleancolor's and I am really excited to try them out!
