Products I'm Lemming

Hello everyone! Today I am going to share with you my imaginary (for now) shopping carts!

Even when I am on a budget I love to sit on Sephora.com or Ulta.com, or any online retailer and create a dream shopping cart.

Because I have been out of the blogging loop for so long, it's really helped me stay away from over purchasing - but alas, as I return, I just want to buy EVERYTHING.

I'll start with my MakeUpGeek cart, which I am actually going to order today! I have been wearing the same MAC eyeshadows for months now and it's pretty much been the bare minimum. I loaded my cart up with a few new eyeshadows to try and one if her MUG's blushes (so many are OOS)! I also threw in some red cheery lashes because they are only $2.50. If there are any items that you have fallen in lvr with from MUG, please let me know in the comments!!
Onto Sephora....oh Sephora. I stopped in the 2 level Sephora on 34th St. in NY before I caught my train home and when I tell you I could have bought everything, I mean everything! I only included the *basic* essentials in this shopping cart but there is so much more I would purchase. Some of the basics like the Bronzer and Laura Mercier powder are items that I need but want to venture out and try other brands. I have been craving the Chocolate Soleil for months now.

When I buckle down and take the plunge on these orders I will most definitely share my opinions and thought with all of you!

Tell me in the comments section below what's on your wish list! Also, if you could feed or kill any of my lemmings, please feel free to go for it.

Dr. Jart+ Beauty Balm

I received a small sample of the Dr. Jart+ Beauty Balm in a Birchbox a while ago and used every last bit of the stuff! I loved it so much that I purchased a tube (.66 oz) because I spotted it at the sample cart near the registers at Sephora.

Dr. Jart+ claims that this product covers blemishes and evens out skin tone while calming blemishes or irritation. The BB cream contains caviar extract and other antioxidants to protect the skin from pollutants. It also contains Arbutin which is a skin lightening agent to help cover dark spots on the skin. This product does contain SPF 25 so keep that in mind if you are going to be photographed! Another positive is that this product doesn't have any strong scents. The garnier BB cream has a really strong chemical scent that is not so nice!

I love this for when I don't want to use a medium to full coverage foundation but want a product that will blur my acne scars and even my skin tone out. I find this to be light coverage but very buildable while still feeling light weight. The texture of this BB cream is really lovely and it blends effortlessly. I find I only need a nickel side drop for my whole face which is nice because it appears as if I am not wearing anything at all on my face. (Side note: I still use concealer and set my face with my Mac Mineralized Skinfinish Natural).

The one aspect of this product that may be a problem for some is that it is one shade. The formula is meant to adjust with your natural skin tone.

Overall I think this is a really nice product if you want a little coverage but still are looking for a fresh, clear face.

Have you tried this BB cream?

Tarte's Maracuja Creaseless Concealer

Today I am going to review Tarte’s new Maracuja Creaseless Concealer ($24). I have dark circles (heredity :( ) that I am always trying to cover up! I purchased this a few weeks ago and have been trying it out ever since.

Tarte claims that this concealer is a long lasting, creaseless concealer that covers imperfections while providing hydration and promotes healthy skin. The Maracuja Creaseless Concealer is made with maracuja oil which gives the skin a dewey, luminous finish. Tarte offers 8 different shades of this concealer. Right now I am around NC25 and wear light medium.

I have not come across a concealer quite like this one. Not once have I used a concealer so creamy! It glides on the skin quiet nicely. I would definitely recommend this product if you have dryness under the eye area. The Maracuja Creaseless Concealer is incredibly creamy and really easy to blend. It's quite thick but once it's blended out, the product really covers dark circles nicely, while providing your under eye area with a bright luminous effect. This provides medium to full coverage, depending on how much you use. I will say that a little goes a long way.

This concealer lasts about 8 - 10 hours. Throughout the day my dark circles are still covered leaving no need for a touch up! I have not experienced much creasing with this product. Normally, after a few minutes of application with other concealers - I find I need to continue to blend because the product creases almost instantly. With the Maracuja concealer this only happens when I have had my make up on ALL day, leaving your under eye area nice and smooth for a majority of the day

The Maracuja Creaseless Concealer comes in a squeeze tube, which is okay. My one complaint with the packaging is that it doesn't come completely filled to the top of the tube. I actually fear that I am going to run out pretty soon, which would be really disappointing. After doing some research, I found that the lack of product was a common complaint.

Nars Mediteranee Eyeshadow Duo

Even though it has been super rainy and just down right terrible weather - I am still rocking the orange eyeshadow. Below is they Nars Mediteranee eyeshadow duo that I picked up at Sephora for around $34. I have had this for a while but when I swatched the orange shade in the store a year or so ago I knew I had to have it.

The Mediteranee duo comes with a golden pearlescent beige shade and a shimmery orange that steals the show. Seriously, this duo is absolutely gorgeous and it is almost 100% the orange shads fault. My only complaint with this due is that the beige shade could be more pigmented. I find myself really trying to pack it on to get good color pay off.

Below is a more wearable look using Mediteranee.

November Beauty Haul: Sephora, Origins, & Lush

Monday Monday! I had a serious case of the Monday's this morning. Didn't want to get out of bed for anything!

Anyways, my nails won't stop breaking so I haven't done anything too exciting with them so I thought I would do another beauty post and share my November Haul.

For cyber Monday Origins was doing a $10 off $35 or more. Of course I chose one of the few items that did not apply to the sale haha but it was a good deal and I couldn't pass it up. This is the Origins 'Your Perfect World' set. I wanted some sort of anti-aging/wrinkle product so I thought this was perfect. It comes with:
Full-size A Perfect World White Tea skin guardian, moisturizer with white tea, Age-defense treatment lotion with White Tea (kind of like a very light toner),
and the Perfect World Face wash with White Tea.

I only just started using these products but I can do a full post on my experience with this product

On Black Friday I ventured to my mall and discovered that they just put in a LUSH store. I haven't purchased anything from lush in the longest time for whatever reason but was very excited to get some goodies. I got the H'suan wen hua hair moisturizer (SERIOUSLY LOVE THIS STUFF) and Ocean which used to be part of my skincare routine ages ago.
Finally I took a trip to Sephora. I hit pan on my favorite NARS blush (Madly) and wanted to try something else so I picked up Luster after watching Zoella's October favorites video. I also picked up a MUFE Mat Velvel Plus and a Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Bare Naked

Thanks for stopping by
