BornPrettyStore Hexagon Glitters: A Review

A very long time ago I received these Glitters to try out from the BornPretty Store. I am only just getting around to using them but I have so many fun manis planned with these beauties. I have already reviewed the BornPrettyStore's Gold Square Studs here
You can order the 12 Piece Nail Art Shiny Glitters from the BornPrettyStore for less than $7. At $6.45 you get more than enough hexagonal glitters in 12 different colors.

You can also use the coupon code in the side bar of my page or at the bottom of this post to receive 10% or your next BornPrettyStore order.

Onto the product - These 1mm glitters are really fun and just as easy to use as the studs I reviewed a while back. Application can be done with a tooth pick, or orange stick, and some fast dry top coat. Just place the glitter over your base coat and apply a quick dry top coat on top (you may want to apply 2 layers for longer wear).
The wear time of the glitters is a good 2 days. After about 48 hours I found they begin to chip off.

Overall, these are great, easy to use, inexpensive nail art tools that as you can see, make any nail look into a mani that's super chic.

Here i have used the silver glitters over OPI's OPI Eurso Euro

What's your favorite BornPrettyStore product?

OPI Thanks a Windmillion + Glitzerland w*BornPrettyStore Gold Studs

Happy Friday! Did all of you Americans enjoy your Thanksgiving? I definitely did :)
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and I had lots of family and friends over to celebrate with.

I didn't do a very festive mani for Thanksgiving but it was a pretty one. I used OPIs Thanks  a Windmillion from the Dutch collection and free handedly added a Stripe of Glitzerland down the center. I also added some of the BornPrettyStore gold rhinestone studs in the center of the stripes. I was a little leery because I though they might get lost in Glitzerland but that didn't really happen.

That was it for my short post today. I am going to brave the mall with my best friend, sister and mother!
Have a great weekend :)

Born Pretty Store Gold Square Stud Rhinestone Review

Hello girls! I am really excited about todays post. A few weeks ago a lovely lady named Daisy from Born Pretty Store contacted me to see if I would be interested in reviewing a product for them. I jumped at the chance. I had visited their site before and was really impressed by all the different nail art goodies they had to offer. Their prices are also extremely reasonable and their site offers free international shipping!

After perusing the born pretty store's website a little I finally decided on trying the gold square stud rhinestone. I have never used a nail art quiet like this but these 2mm gold square studs are AWESOME. They add a great edge to your nails.

The studs come in a pouch that zips shut and there are PLENTY of studs in each bag. The application of these studs is really easy. After applying a couple coats of polish to your nails just simply take a toothpick or an orange stick, dab some top coat on the point and grab a stud with the point and apply the stud to where you'd like on your nails. When you are finished applying the design you want add a thick coat of top coat! You can also check out a video tutorial on bornprettystore's youtube channel.

To create my first design with these studs I did a dual polish mani using Colorclub's Snakeskin and Wet n' Wild's Black creme. I then added a vertical line of studs down the center of my nail. I love the idea behind these studs. They can really take an ordinary manicure and make it something fun and edgy. Another plus is that the studs have great longevity. The studs stayed on for a couple of days (even with a lot of use of my hands).

Overall, I think these studs are a great product - they are easy to use, have great wear time, are really cheap, and make your nails look great.

You can order these studs  here for under $6! The BornPretty Store also provided me with a 10%off code to share so you can get a discount on your order. Just include the code RLL91 at check out.

What do you think? Will you be using the gold square rhinestone studs for your next nail art design!

Sunday Surprise: Born Pretty Store 10% Off + Sinful Swatch

Hello ladies! Before I get into today's swatch I want to share a Born Pretty Store coupon code with you. All you have to do is type in the promo code RLL91 at checkout to receive 10% off your next Born Pretty Store purchase!
I have a small parcel from them coming soon that I am very eager to share you!

Now onto today's swatch. While I was browsing around the drugstore the other day picking up some travel size items for the Cali trip (which was canceled BTW!) I of course went to the beauty section to see what goodies they had waiting for me. Sinful Rain Storm was one of the polishes that caught my eye because of course, it's my favorite shade - blue. This Sinful is a real winner. It's a dusty creme that can definitely be a one coater! The formula is fabulous! This polish applied like butter. And of course the price is nothing to complain about!
