New Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick: Barely Bloomed

So Maybelline has release a new line of Color Sensational Lipsticks for 2015! I did stumble upon them last weekend and picked up one of the shades because I was really in the market for a new nude. The one I purchased was Barely Bloomed, a warm peach toned lipstick. 

Barley Bloomed is a creamy consistency and while it is opaque, it does apply a little patchy so I suggest wearing a lip liner underneath. With a lipliner this did hole up a good three hours for me and that included eating and drinking! 

The Color Sensational line is probably my favorite affordable lipstick line. You can see previous swatches of other CS lipsticks here 

As mentioned in my a Collective Haul Video, I did purchase a nude lip liner by Colour Pop called Skimpy. This is the perfect match for Barely Bloomed. Skimpy is a warmer nude with a little bit of a deeper brown undertone so it adds a nice dimension to the lips when Barely Bloomed is applied on top.

Nars Mediteranee Eyeshadow Duo

Even though it has been super rainy and just down right terrible weather - I am still rocking the orange eyeshadow. Below is they Nars Mediteranee eyeshadow duo that I picked up at Sephora for around $34. I have had this for a while but when I swatched the orange shade in the store a year or so ago I knew I had to have it.

The Mediteranee duo comes with a golden pearlescent beige shade and a shimmery orange that steals the show. Seriously, this duo is absolutely gorgeous and it is almost 100% the orange shads fault. My only complaint with this due is that the beige shade could be more pigmented. I find myself really trying to pack it on to get good color pay off.

Revlon Lip Butter Creme Brulee

I'm going to review a makeup product. A little change of pace, but change is a good thing right!?

Prior to NicNacksNails I was an avid beauty blogger but for whatever reason deleted that account. I am slowly getting back into makeup products which isn't looking to good for my wallet.

The lip product I am going to share with you today is the Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee.

Lip products and blushers are probably my favorite products to look experiment with.

I saw this product used in a youtube video and wanted it instantly. 

First things first, the packaging is really cute - each lip butter has a faux quilted cap and a black bottom. 

The product itself is really lovely. Creme Brulee has sheer to medium coverage and has a nice warm tone to it. It's a great everyday nude. It reminds me of a very light cinnamon shade.

The only negative about the lip butters is the staying power. I find myself applying this product quiet a bit however, it won't stop me from using or purchasing!
