OPI Glitzerland

I don't know what it is but my manis have just not been coming out the way I would like them to! I think it is the lack of time, unfortunately! I don't really have time to think about what I want to wear and even worse is that I have been feeling a little uninspired! I received Glitzerland from a friend for Christmas. Every time we would go nail polish shopping we both would look at it and drool.

While it is a gorgeous gold shade, it wasn't the most flattering on my skin tone. The formula was thin, so three coats were needed but it wasn't a PitA to apply!
Since it didn't wow me like I hoped it would I added the star design from BM21!

Parlez Vous OPI & a small haul

This was a polish I searched to swap for because I thought it looked great on everybody else. I am unsure about how I feel about it on my skintone. Don't get me wrong this is a really pretty color, I am just not sure it's right for me. I think it looks a lot dustier on me than it does on others. The fomula was nice, a little on the thick side but it wasn't too hard to deal with.
I ended up putting a stamp on it using China Glaze's IDK. The number of the plate escapes me but if anyone asks I can get the number for you. It was very subtle but I like it that way :)

Also a week or two ago I was on MUA from my phone and saw all of tis talk about Lynderellas being back up on her site. By the time I got to ordering the only one that was still in stock was this gorgeous green glitter, I Can Afford It. I didn't want to pass it up so I put it in my cart along with another Glitter Gal I had my eye on!

Thanks for looking!

LA Splash Glitter

While I was on a hunt for the Wet n Wild Icon glitters (which I still have yet to find!) I came across a new LA Splash display. I picked up a couple of them hoping they would be a nice substitute until I find those damn Color Icons!

The glitter is called Vegas and for this mani I just used it over a white.
For the accent nail I stamped B14 with Orly's Luxe.

I have so many Christmas Mani ideas so I hope you don't mind if you are bombarded with them. I rarely do holiday manis so I feel like I need to catch up!

Models Own Pink Lady (Flower)

A while ago I won OMG Polish 'Em's blog give away and I am so sorry I have
not posted anything about it until now!
I received 2 konad polishes, plates, and 4 Models own Polishes.
I was very excited when I won because I don't have access to Model's Own
in stores around me.

The first one I tried was Pink Lady. I love the name - Grease is one of my favorite movies!
Pink Lady is a medium pink polish with a blue shimmer. SO PRETTY!
On my accent finger I did a few coats of OPI I Think in Pink.

At first I thought I was going to need 3 coats because it was a little bit thin the first coat.
But the 2nd coat was just enough.
I added a stamp using BM 12 and the Konad pink and white I received from the giveaway.

SpaRitual Crystal Eyes

About a month ago my friend won an Aveyou contest on Twitter and won a $100 gift certificate.
She was kind enough to get my my first SpaRitual! After she won the contest we realized this place is about 20 minutes from where we live.
After much deliberation I chose Crystal Eyes, a creamy mid tone blue.
Application of this was great. I think a thick coat could be okay if you needed an easy one coater.
I ended up doing a patriotic mani by complete accident but I really wanted to use this stamp (BM20)
Over all I am very impressed with this SpaRitual.

What are some of your Sparitual favs?

Confetti Fruit Smoothie

The other day I was perusing my local CVS. I hadn't been there in a while so I was surprised to see that they still had a good selection of Confetti's left. Not many struck my fancy except one; Fruit Smoothie!

This is a really pretty creme. Its a bright pink, almost red!

I am in love!! I originally thought this was similar to Essie's watermelon

but I think this has a more red/orange tones to it.

I then added a BM design. I added it after I saw EmeraldSparkled's post with this design. I thought it was beautiful!

This is BM06

NOTzd: Essie Coat Azure

I went through my untrieds today and picked Essie's coat Azure.
Blue is my favorite color to wear, a majority of posts on my blog so far
have been blue. I need to incorporate more variety but I just can't help it lol.
I thought this was a good choice too since it is still Autism Awareness month!
Coat Azure is a really pretty light to medium blue with pretty shimmers!
For some reason me and Essie don't get along! The brush is way too small for
my liking and I found this formula a little thick. Actually, if your in a rush this could probably
be a really nice one coater!
I was unsure about picking this up. I had seen a lot of swatches on blogs and MUA and each time I saw it, it looked different. Im glad I got it though - It's gorgeous!
I added a BM later on
Plate: BM16
Stamped w* SH Insta Dri in Blue Away
Dots: Zoya Pippa

Color Club Fashion Addict

Since the sun was out today and the weather is the warmest its been in ages I had to do a holo.
Color Club's Fashion Addict is probably the prettiest holo I own (however, if I owend some of China Glaze's OMG's it would be a different story).

I have had this untried for a while & worried that it might be a dud, but even in artificial light its gorgeous!

& since I can't seem to keep my nails with just polish anymore, I had to add a BM.
This is BM19 with Black Konad Polish

I am thinking about doing a small giveaway if I reach 50 subscribers.
Let me know what kinds of polishes you would like to see!

NYC Manhattan

Unfortunately, I have no St. Patty's mani to share with you today.
But I do have one of my favorite vampy burgundy shades.
This is NYC's Manhattan and it amazing!
2 coats gets your this really pretty berryish color, and 3 gets you a really
great almost black vamp shade. Application was super smooth
and the wear was really decent.
This is my only NYC color but it has me wanting more !
I stamped it with some Color Club Fashion Addict (BM10)
Its really subtle but I really like it.
