BornPrettyStore Hexagon Glitters: A Review

A very long time ago I received these Glitters to try out from the BornPretty Store. I am only just getting around to using them but I have so many fun manis planned with these beauties. I have already reviewed the BornPrettyStore's Gold Square Studs here
You can order the 12 Piece Nail Art Shiny Glitters from the BornPrettyStore for less than $7. At $6.45 you get more than enough hexagonal glitters in 12 different colors.

You can also use the coupon code in the side bar of my page or at the bottom of this post to receive 10% or your next BornPrettyStore order.

Onto the product - These 1mm glitters are really fun and just as easy to use as the studs I reviewed a while back. Application can be done with a tooth pick, or orange stick, and some fast dry top coat. Just place the glitter over your base coat and apply a quick dry top coat on top (you may want to apply 2 layers for longer wear).
The wear time of the glitters is a good 2 days. After about 48 hours I found they begin to chip off.

Overall, these are great, easy to use, inexpensive nail art tools that as you can see, make any nail look into a mani that's super chic.

Here i have used the silver glitters over OPI's OPI Eurso Euro

What's your favorite BornPrettyStore product?

Essie Marshmallow Bling

My apologies for not posting a nail post in a while. The cold has not been easy on my nails - they are brittle and breaking left and right. This is they best shape they have been in in a couple of weeks and I'm still not happy with them, lol. I am very particular.

Today I have 3 coats of Essie's Marshmallow. I am not Thrilled with this polish. I know it's not opaque at all but I find it really heard to get an even coverage of this even after 3 coats. I added Revlon's Stunning over it for a little sparkle and like the end result much better!

Holo Swatches Part 2: China Glaze & Nicole by OPI

Hey everyone. I have a few quick swatches before I head down to my brother's beach house
for the day!
I have been lucky enough to obtain most of my holos through swaps, ebay, and blog sales.
China Glaze QT came to be through a swap on MakeUpAlley.
QT is obviously a gorgeous pink linear holo.
I find ChG holos are really the easiest to apply. No dragging or patchiness like I had
with the next swatch I have comming up, an the Nfu Oh holo.

The next holo swatch I have is a NicStick from Nicole by OPI.
I know people are having some trouble finding these but I found it at a local drugstore
in New Jersey (Harmons).

This is 3 coats due to the fact that it dragged a little bit.

Hope you enjoyed those :)

Polka Dot Audrey

This manicure was inspired by a photo I saved on my photobucket from the Laqcuer Files. I am absolutly in love with polka dot mani's so
I was pretty obsessed with my nails after doing this.
For the base I used For Audrey, and Milani's Silver Dazzle (one coat glitter) on my index fingers.
The dots are:
Sally Hansen Whirlwind White
Milani 3d
American Apparel Peacock
Milani Silver Dazzle

I am super eager to do more color schemes!
