Revlon Whimsical

Why I waited so long to get this polish I do not know. Yes I love blue, and yes I love glitter but I never understood the hype around Revlon's Whimsical. I passed it up a few times in the drug store but picked it up on a whim. WOW I love this nail polish.

 I added 2 coats over Essie's Turquoise and Caicos. I love the soft look it gives T&C. Revlon did such a good job with this GitA Dupe!!

I am really hoping Revlon comes out with a Mermaid's Dream dupe - I will stalk the drug stores for that one!

100th Post! Zoya Tru

Hey guys! Welcome to the weekend :) Today's post is pretty special because I have finally reached 100 posts! For you I have Zoya's Tru from their spring collection. Tru is a eggplant purple with shimmers. In real life it has much more red tones than are portrayed in the picture. 

I'm not sure if I got a duddy one, but I was really hoping for the shimmers to be much more apparent than they actually were. Also the consistency I found was very goopy. It kind of makes me want to go buy the OPI dupe to see how it compares!

Hello blogger world! I have missed posting so much and am extremely glad my nails are back in good shape! For my return I have an OPI from the new Holland collection: Thanks a Windmillion. I didn't really own anything like this in my stash. It's not quiet mint, it's a nice mix of green, blue, and grey, almost like a sea foam green. The application was perfection, 2 easy coats.

One other reason I have not been posting is because I got a puppy! He is such a handful but look at him! He was rescued from a shelter and was living in a foster home. This was his at 8 weeks :)

So since I have been out of the loop what collections are you most looking forward to coming out?!

Hello to all of my readers. I just wanted to stop by and write you a little explanation!

It's been quiet a while since my last post :( However, I had some AWFUL breaks to multiple nails! I don't know if I wasn't being careful with my nubs but I am in the process of nursing them back to health! They are almost there.

I don't really like posting photos of my nails when they are not in the best of shape so I am sorry for the hiatus!

I have some amazing pretties to show you guys when my nails are up to my posting standards!

American Apparel hunter w*Revlon Stunning

Today I have yet another American Aparel polish that has not been featured on my blog, Hunter. Hunter is exactly what the name suggests, a true hunter green. It is an amazing creme that is so effortless to apply. I don't think I can stress enough how amazing the formula of these American Apparel nail polishes are.

Since I have been a little glitter obsessed lately I added a coat of Revlon's Stunning.

American Apparel Dynasty w*LA Color Glitter

Hi ladies. I hope your weekend went better than mine did. My SO and I of four and a half years are taking some time apart :( This weekend is one of the most painful I have had to go through. All I can do is hope for the best.

I don't want to go on sobbing and bombard this post with negativity so moving on! I have been going through my stash and past blog posts so I can determine what polishes have not been featured on my blog yet. American Apparels Dynasty is one of them. I only have three AA polishes but I love the formula of every single one of them. They are so creamy, opaque, and one coat will do just the trick if you are in a bit of a rush.

Dynasty is a creamy light purple shade which I topped with a nameless L.A. Colors Color Craze glitter that I received as an extra in a swap!

I love the combo of these two polishes together!

OPI Glitzerland

I don't know what it is but my manis have just not been coming out the way I would like them to! I think it is the lack of time, unfortunately! I don't really have time to think about what I want to wear and even worse is that I have been feeling a little uninspired! I received Glitzerland from a friend for Christmas. Every time we would go nail polish shopping we both would look at it and drool.

While it is a gorgeous gold shade, it wasn't the most flattering on my skin tone. The formula was thin, so three coats were needed but it wasn't a PitA to apply!

Since it didn't wow me like I hoped it would I added the star design from BM21!
