SpaRitual Crystal Eyes

About a month ago my friend won an Aveyou contest on Twitter and won a $100 gift certificate.
She was kind enough to get my my first SpaRitual! After she won the contest we realized this place is about 20 minutes from where we live.
After much deliberation I chose Crystal Eyes, a creamy mid tone blue.
Application of this was great. I think a thick coat could be okay if you needed an easy one coater.
I ended up doing a patriotic mani by complete accident but I really wanted to use this stamp (BM20)
Over all I am very impressed with this SpaRitual.

What are some of your Sparitual favs?

China Glaze 'IDK Tape Manicure

Another beach day, another holo (AND another untried knocked off the list)
Gosh, I regret not wearing this sooner. I tried to avoid holos when I know I will be working a lot, but I had 3 days of beautiful weather off so I knew it was a good time to wear it.

& now a ridiculous amount of China Glaze IDK photos...

I really could not stop staring at this mani! I bought this off e-bay and it was my first polish from the 'OMG' collection. Another reason it took me so long to wear it was because every top coat I owned dulls holos. So I waited until I had the Sally Hansen Insta Dri top coat :)

I then did a laser tape mani (which was a pain to accomplish!). I added OPI's Funky Donkey

A Tiny Haul + 2 Untried Swatches

The past few months on MUA different users have been in charge of a monthly 'no buy/low buy.'
I have been trying to save money as best I can so I decided this might be a good idea! I also purchased 5th row tickets to the HONDA CIVIC TOUR with BLINK 182 & MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE - my all time FAVORITE band. so that sent me back a few bucks :)
I did do a small Haul on May 30 to hold me over though ;) I had a 15% of coupon to Sally's that expired June 1 so I had to use it!

I ended up with 2 new Orly's (my first one's) and ChG Secret Periwinkle. I had never seen it in the permanent display before so I snatched it up.
I also bought a Confetti and Milani Neon from CVS prior :)

As part of the 'no buy/lo buy' you have to shop your stash and use your untrieds! If you use 5% of your untried you can purchase 1 polish!

So far I have tried:
Funky Fingers Screaming Fuschia with Milani Jewel FX on top

and Sally Hansen Insta Dri in Fuschia Flace

I don't wear a lot of pink so I though I should start with 2 untried pinks!

Milani 3D Holographic

NJ has had some pretty gorgeous weather lately. A little cool but it did not stop me from going to the beach last Thursday with my mom and sister. I hadn't worn a holo so it was the perfect opportunity!
I chose Milini's Holographic polish in 3D. I did this one because the only BC's I have at the moment
are SV and Essie's good to go - both Dull most holos, but I knew SV doesn't dull Milani's too much!
Milani 3D is a gorgeous gold scattered holo. This is 3 coats.
I got 2-3 days out of this even after 2 days of beach oils and sand ruining my hands!
When my no buy is over this June I am going to CVS and picking up the rest of the colors!

Confetti Fruit Smoothie

The other day I was perusing my local CVS. I hadn't been there in a while so I was surprised to see that they still had a good selection of Confetti's left. Not many struck my fancy except one; Fruit Smoothie!

This is a really pretty creme. Its a bright pink, almost red!

I am in love!! I originally thought this was similar to Essie's watermelon

but I think this has a more red/orange tones to it.

I then added a BM design. I added it after I saw EmeraldSparkled's post with this design. I thought it was beautiful!

This is BM06

Essie Turquoise and Caicos & Tinsel and Feather Extensions

The other day I battled another Essie formula: Turquoise and Caisos. I was hoping this would be a lot like Watermelon, but it was the exact opposite. It was runny and balded on me like crazy. I did 3 coats to get it the way I wanted to look

Normally I would NEVER post photobooth photos unless it was an emergency and I did have a small one that day.
I broke a nail. I was feeling self conscience about it so here it is from my photobooth :)
You can also see the tinsel and some of the feathers I got put in my hair that day!

Later on I added some tape designs to the mani.
I love how it came out.

More tinsel and feathers

I heart A Good Mandarine is Hard to Find

The other night I was having an "I can't remember how to paint my nails" moment.
Have you ever had one of those? quiet annoying.
I don't know if it was because it was late or what but I had polish all over my cuticles
and had to do my ring finger at least 3 times.
EVENTUALLY I worked it out though haha.

I ended up doing OPI's A Good Mandarin is Hard to Find with Funky Fingers Screaming
Fuscia on my accent nail with some hearts. Screaming Fuscia didn't stand out as much
as I would have liked to but oh well.

I did the hearts with my dotting tool and I think I could use a little practice haha.

Next time ;)
